![]() Just to offer some additional information, I have separate C and D drives. However, when at last I tried subscribing to Steam Workshop mods, whilst they downloaded, they didn't show in the mod folder or game launcher, even after launching the game to the title screen and restarting my computer. M&T was visible in the mod launcher, so it seems that the actual mod folder is working fine, except that Steam won't put the mods there. I tried unsubscribing from them again, and do a completely fresh install of EU4, launching the game and manually creating a mod folder, in which I downloaded M&T. ![]() The mods had all downloaded, taking up more than 1GB, but I couldn't actually find where to. ![]() This was after resubscribing to numerous mods, as I'd unsubscribed from them upon uninstalling the game. I did go into the Paradox folder to see whether there was anything wrong in the mod folder, but there wasn't actually one. It was after this that the mods became entirely inaccessible, save for a converted save from CK2. I can't quite recall of the sequence of events beforehand, but on one occasion not that long I tried deleting my EU4 folder from the Paradox folder on my computer. I don't know if that was a unique issue, or something that everyone found after the most recent patches. The combination of these various efforts seemed to work fine.īefore my mods became entirely inaccessible, I had also noticed that it seemed that despite numerous apparent updates, they were listed as incompatible on the launcher. ![]() I would also try restarting my computer, both before and after these steps. In addition to those steps, I would also try uninstalling my games altogether and reinstalling them. I've set Steam to launch with administrator privileges, and set my Steam folder so that the files aren't read-only. I have over the past few months had occasional disk-write errors, typically when installing updates for games like CS:GO and EU4. I'll try to run through what happened leading up to this problem, as well as providing a more in depth description of what's wrong and what I've done so far to try and fix it. As I said, I've been experiencing a issue over the last few days where my Steam Workshop mods for EU4 in particular don't seem to be working correctly. ![]()
